1.5L EcoBoost® engine with Auto Start-Stop technology, available with all EcoBoost® engines. This can help reduce fuel consumption and vehicle emissions. The 3-cylinder engine benefits from an 8-speed transmission. With standard front-wheel drive (FWD) and optional all-wheel drive (AWD).
2.0L EcoBoost® engine. Sporty driving is assured with direct injection and turbocharging. This 4-cylinder engine also uses an 8-speed transmission and comes standard with intelligent all-wheel drive (AWD).
2.5L I-4 hybrid engine. Using regenerative braking, the engine captures energy normally lost through braking to help charge the battery and increase efficiency. The hybrid powertrain uses a continuously variable automatic transmission. For the ST-Line or Platinum versions, front-wheel drive (FWD) is standard and all-wheel drive (AWD) is optional. However, the ST-Line Select and ST-Line Elite versions have all-wheel drive as standard.
Optional 2.5L I-4 plug-in hybrid engine. This engine is the perfect combination of incredible autonomy and outstanding acceleration. The plug-in hybrid powertrain is exclusively available in plug-in hybrid electric vehicle version (PHEV). It is only available with Front-wheel drive and uses a continuous variable transmission. The Level 1 mobile power cord allows charging from any 120V outlet.
